The Plattsburgh Peace Quilt Project

Members of the Red Hummingbird Foundation created individual pillows from quilt blocks to send to their GAP partners and also created the Plattsburgh Peace Quilt. The Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to building community.

“We collaborate with individuals and organizations representing many cultural traditions so that, together, we may strengthen our relationship and the well being of our community. The Foundation disseminates the wisdom teachings of humanity with an emphasis on those of the indigenous civilizations of the Americas. To this end we offer publications, workshops, study groups and cultural events. We promote cooperation and collaboration with individuals and organizations to improve community relations and social well being through activities in the arts, nature, family and recreation.”
